Cardiff City defender Sean Morrison undergoes operation that could see him miss start of next season

Cardiff City defender Sean Morrison has undergone an ankle operation that could disrupt the start of next season.
The 25-year-old centre-half is out of the Bluebirds last game of the campaign at home to Birmingham tomorrow after having surgery.
One of Russell Slade’s main players this term, Morrison will see his pre-season decimated with early indications being he may not be fit to train again until as late as July 17.
Slade, who is uncertain about his own future at the club and will learn if he has a new deal at the club within the next few days, said it was surgery that needed to be done sooner rather than later.

Russell Slade:
“Sean has had the operation, it’s the ankle, but the problem has moved higher,” said Slade.
“It looks like he will be out for 10 to 12 weeks. The date we have been given is July 17. He has been a very important player this term and it does need to be sorted out.”
The Bluebirds will also be without Joe Ralls, Kagisho Dikgacoi and Fabio through injury for what is effectively a dead rubber against Birmingham.
Lex Immers, Declan John and Anthony Pilkington have trained this week, but remain doubts for the clash

Well that's one player we won't be able to get off the wage bill this summer.
I'd play Connolly and Ben Turner tomorrow as it seems Bruno will be on his way.

Turner is fine now.
