You couldn't be more right. Was talking to two friends down the pub, both elderly gentleman and asked them who they will vote for - they replied "Labour". When I asked why they replied "Well I always have done and always will do" but couldn't give me one reason why they still do apart from "the mines".

Ever heard of once bitten twice shy?
Labour isn't perfect but it offers the best choice of Wales overall. The English Conservative Government has no interest in us and that has been learnt through long hard bitter experiences in the past.

The Lib Dems will probably take a generation to recover from the damage Brother Clegg inflicted on them and Plaid are nothing but a bunch of daft lads who should not be taken seriously.
These elections are pretty meaningless in my opinion and are just the foreplay to the real ballot coming up next month. I will be voting to leave and as that is the policy of UKIP they currently represent my views. in particular our right to self determination and self government, and I can only see myself voting UKIP in any and all elections going forward.
I have no appetite to be part of the United States of Europe, and that is where the federalists in Brussels are intent on taking the EU, or for voting for any johnny foreigner to be President of the USE.

I have very similar thoughts. I always used to vote Labour because they seemed to represent the working class but since New Labour came in they have basically become Tories in disguise. With Corbyn in charge they have become a laughing stock and will never get back in whilst he's there.
Too many people vote Labour because their parents did and their parents did. This is not the Labour party of the 60s and 70s but the sheep can't see that.
The only ones who seem to represent me and have ideals that I can associate with are UKIP. Just need a lot of Labour & Tory supporters to realise that there is only one party that is more concerned with the country's welfare than their own!
