People would vote labour in Wales if Zippy from rainbow was their leader.
And why Plaid ? They have no policies, they have not got a clue

You couldn't be more right. Was talking to two friends down the pub, both elderly gentleman and asked them who they will vote for - they replied "Labour". When I asked why they replied "Well I always have done and always will do" but couldn't give me one reason why they still do apart from "the mines".

Ever heard of once bitten twice shy?

Labour isn't perfect but it offers the best choice of Wales overall. The English Conservative Government has no interest in us and that has been learnt through long hard bitter experiences in the past.

We have been bitten by Labour so much that this country is unrecogniseable. The Welsh Labour Government has no interest in us either.

I have been throughout my adult life a Labour voter but since Blair created "New Labour" I have found it difficult to recognise what the party stands for, other than getting what they can for themselves. The Tories have in my opinion always looked after themselves first and foremost and have never really changed, in fact Dodgy Dave is nothing more than Thatcher without the high pitched voice and 24 hour girdle. The Lib Dems will probably take a generation to recover from the damage Brother Clegg inflicted on them and Plaid are nothing but a bunch of daft lads who should not be taken seriously.

These elections are pretty meaningless in my opinion and are just the foreplay to the real ballot coming up next month. I will be voting to leave and as that is the policy of UKIP they currently represent my views. in particular our right to self determination and self government, and I can only see myself voting UKIP in any and all elections going forward.

I have no appetite to be part of the United States of Europe, and that is where the federalists in Brussels are intent on taking the EU, or for voting for any johnny foreigner to be President of the USE.

To be honest this exit poll result says a lot about this forum to me. Thank god in the real world people see things so differently.

People are seeing things differently I agree with that and times are changing hence the vote above so far, although most of us know the polls are fixed to suit the fattest wallets agenda's and business interests :laughing6:

I think your right. Most Labour voters in Wales have a football supporter mentality.(My Grandad supported Labour,My Dad supported Labour and so do I.)This kind of mentality is slowly dying out.It might take another 20yrs or so but their popularity seems to be declining along with heavy industry.

Get ready for Labour supporters to state that anyone who voted differently must be thick etc or they are raving Racists etc. But here in the Valleys when asked why they vote Labour it's the same old answer. Because we have always voted Labour it's traditional etc.

I have very similar thoughts. I always used to vote Labour because they seemed to represent the working class but since New Labour came in they have basically become Tories in disguise. With Corbyn in charge they have become a laughing stock and will never get back in whilst he's there.

Too many people vote Labour because their parents did and their parents did. This is not the Labour party of the 60s and 70s but the sheep can't see that.

The only ones who seem to represent me and have ideals that I can associate with are UKIP. Just need a lot of Labour & Tory supporters to realise that there is only one party that is more concerned with the country's welfare than their own!

Most people are sheep they follow simple as.When asked about policies and intentions most half wits cannot respond because they do not educate themselves;rather they immerse themselves in their own little bubbles. Labour counts on this ignorance and stupidity. Hitler was right, the masses are stupid and gullible, they need to follow. That half a billion a year sewage farm down the bay is about as much use to the Welsh people as a chocolate fire guard.
