Feyenoord Loanee Lex Immers Unsure of Cardiff City Future

Cardiff City attacking midfielder Lex Immers has explained that he is still not certain about his future at the Welsh club.
The Championship outfit, who snapped up Immers from Feyenoord on a loan deal until the end of the season during the winter transfer window, are currently under a transfer embargo following a breach of Financial Fair Play rules.
However, the transfer embargo is expected to be lifted in the summer, and Cardiff are hopeful about making Immers’ loan move permanent at the end of the season.
But the Dutchman insists that he is still unsure whether he will remain at the Cardiff City Stadium beyond the summer.
"The club are still under a transfer ban, which they have until the end of the season”, he told Omroep West.
“They are hopeful about signing me from Feyenoord, so it remains to be seen.”
Immers, whose present contract with Feyenoord runs until 2017, has been in good form since joining Cardiff in January, scoring five goals and providing an assist in 14 Championship outings.
He is a product of ADO Den Haag’s youth system and left the club for Feyenoord in the summer of 2012.

Good player and excellent workrate with a knack of being in the box at right time something city have lacked from their forward players for a long time. Proved a vital link from midfield to attack when came into the side and immers just behind a recognised striker would be an excellent signal of intent from city. Really hope they can do a deal for him or at worst case scenario secure a season long loan.

We have to sign him and a an out and out forward. We cant afford any more misjudgements and shit purchases we have got enough useless strikers on the books.

I don't think he'll stay, and he has'nt exactly come out fighting and saying that he wants to stay. Probably hoping a bigger club will make a move.
