Cardiff City are finally set to kiss goodbye to the midfielder who hasn’t kicked a ball for the club in three-and-a-half years – and only managed 31 minutes of league football since a £500,000 move in 2012.

Filip Kiss has not played a single minute for the Bluebirds since an FA Cup third round defeat to Macclesfield in January 2013 when then manager Malk Mackay played a shadow side at Moss Rose.
And he only managed two substitute appearances in the Championship that season after Mackay shelled out a fee reported to be just shy of half a million to turn a successful loan stay into a permanent deal.

Slovakian Kiss signed a four-year contract to move from Slovan Bratislava after making 26 appearances in a season-long loan in South Wales the previous year, but has been nowhere near the first team ever since.
He spent two years on loan at Scottish outfit Ross County before signing a similar deal at Norwegian side FK Haugesund last August having been told his Bluebirds days were numbered.

Now, with no fresh contract on the table at Cardiff, reports in Norway have claimed the 25-year-old has agreed a one-year deal with the Tippeligaen club where he has been hailed as one of their key players, coached by former Bluebirds assistant manager Mark Dempsey.
“We’ve talked to Filip and he knows that he is strongly desired further FKH. We will do everything we can to keep him,” Dempsey said recently.

I honestly thought he'd played a little more than that but it must have been in cup games?

Makes you wonder why malky signed him,played regular while on loan,then when signed permanently, didn't get a look in

I agree Chris,very strange signing and more money wasted.
Not much game time at all
