Cardiff City, since we’ve brought them up, are said to be considering the future of their manager Russell Slade, which has got other people considering potential replacements, such as Craig Bellamy, Nigel Pearson, Neil Warnock or Nigel Clough.

Not cloudy but any of the other 3 I'd be happy with.

Nigel Pearson with possibly Bellamy as number 2 is a huge statement of our intentions next season.

Pearson is proven to be a hard ball but also his teams have known to be fit and he has proven ability to promote a club! Our squad fitness has not been the same since Malky has left, for some of his bad things at least Malkys team could last for a solid 90 mins.

One thing Malky got right was a focus on sport science, which has dropped of the face of the earth since he left. Pearson done the same thing at Leicester and they've carried it on and they've just won the league, just shows how important it is really. Would love Pearson here though, his teams have played some good football.

The 'other people considering potential replacements' are us - posters on this board and CCMB who are just thinking aloud with no inside knowledge of what the club will do. There is no independent basis for this 'news story', nor for most others in the national media. It starts with an idle post, becomes a thread where every possible out of work manager gets a mention, it is then turned into a Wales Online filler story by Steve Tucker or Chris Watham, then gets picked up by the Mirror Online, followed by other national media with a few column inches to fill. And a day later it becomes the basis of a new messageboard thread where the whole empty process repeats!

If we were to have a change of management then i'd definitely go for Nigel Pearson and Craig Bellamy plus a decent transfer budget.
