Well said! We need a decision asap. After a holiday, the manager, whoever he is, needs to start planning for next season.

It would be unprofessional of the club to make any announcement on the manager's future before the end of (a) the season, and (b) his contract, which I believe ends (or is renewable) at the end of May

I think it will be a case of "watch this space" for another week or two as the club review the season on the playing field and I guess there will be points for and against the renewal of Russell Slade's contract

Of course, it may well be that Russell Slade may not want to carry on at the CCS and he may want to move on whilst his stock is reasonably high elsewhere

Either way (Slade to stay or go) I just hope that an announcement is made early into the off-season

I agree Sven. If the season had finished two or three weeks ago, I'd understand frustration at no statement being made. But we still have a match on Saturday so, as you say, would be very unprofessional.

All you've done is bang on about how well slade has done. Surely the guy deserves a bit of respect and finish the season then decide on his future.
