Initially, I thought that too, but then I thought of the non-importance of the game and every seat filled (I nearly said with a bum on it, but enough about the Brum fans!) will be a bonus and potential additional income for the outlets
An 'open-gate' policy may save a lot of wasted paper!![]()

Is it because Annis put out earlier that there were no free tickets for the Birmingham game, hmmmmmmm

Of course people are not happy, its a gesture giving people who do not support the club a freebie via a club supporting fully paid up fan.
To pass that off as some sort of 'Thank You' is quite frankly an insult when there is absolutly nothing in it for the season ticket holder.

I dont mind them doing the odd offer but this is just short sighted and mugging off paying customers.
This is the 4th free game in a row plus I am sure there were a few bring a mate for a tenner and other offers throughout the season
I am all for the club giving free tickets to children via schools etc but adults can pay just like the rest of us have.
There are people out there that have done 8-10 home games this season at the cost of about 40 quid through all these deals.
Just my opinion, I dont expect people to agree, such is life

That's a really silly statement ONLY season ticket holders can acquire free tickets not a member of the general public so the gift is to current season ticket holders of every holder decided not to take the club up on the free tickets then there would be no one in the stadium that hadn't paid!!
If you are a season ticket holder then you are not losing anything by taking them up at all but perhaps giving a relative of friend the chance to experience a day out that they may enjoy and perhaps want to join you again next year and pay for their tickets then this helping the club but giving your reaction to the two free tickets I doubt anyone would want to go with you for the day Anyway

The only silly thing here is you fella, as you are saying my statement is silly based on something I havn't even said.
You say, and I quote, 'ONLY season ticket holders can acquire free tickets not a member of the general public'.
Please show me in my post where I said Joe Public could acquire the tickets, actually don't bother as I never said it.
However what I have said is a statement of fact, the season ticket holder who has Paid gets nothing, the person the tickets (Joe Public) get passed onto get to go the game for free (Benefit).
That is great and I don't mind it now and again to attract new fans, myself and the 3 season ticket holders I go with have passed our tickets on for every game so no worries on that score but thanks for your concern but this season its become a bit of a joke,
