' SMALL CLUB, BIG NAME MANAGER '

Mon May 02, 2016 6:42 pm

Just trawling the Internet and noticed Atletico Baleares manager is Christian Ziege, Annis you never told us :o

Ziege is a big name for such a small club, played for Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Spurs to name a few.

The left back was also capped over 70 times for Germany.

The club has had a poor season finishing mid table.

Yes Carl, the Atletico Baleares fans are excited by next season, even though they only finished 10th this season.

They've a new German owner and German Legend manager, for a tiny club.

At the moment all they want and I do at the moment is Mallorca relegated, so they play each other next season :ayatollah:

Hi Carl, I've been to a couple of their games now since I've been over here and I must admit that is a great coup by the club to get someone like Ziege as manager. I think Atlético will do well next season and go one step further from winning the cup this season. Very good luck to them, oh and they play in blue
