I remember being at the game and if my memory serves me right, David Tong got a late equalizer for us. There were also rumors flying around on the day that some of the Chelsea boys would be turning up! These were great times following the Coty on away trips!!

A good trip (they all were then), a couple of beers in Reading first with Vampy and a few of the others on the early train from Treherbert. If I remember correctly a police woman was trapped under the wall.

I believe a young Phil StanT scored for them. If he didn't score then I'm sure he played against us that day! I remember going to that game with my Dad in a temporary stand behind the goal housing a good few Chelsea fans!!

Big punch up in a Pub before the game between the Rhondda lot and Chelsea. Anyone else remember Birmingham home around about 79/80, the gates at the Canton Stand end of the Bob Bank were locked, so everyone started to push, they gave way and about 30 of us ended up on the floor being crushed by fat bastards, amazingly no one was seriously hurt.

I was at this game,a load of us went on the train and went in that pub right outside the station.Word went around that Chelsea were in the pub down the road so a load of city went round to confront them. Also a few Chelsea in the ground behind the goal, then the barrier gave way and everyone on the pitch. There was always something that happened watching city away in those days, great times.
