Cardiff City fans begin clamour on social networking for Bluebirds

Threads on the messageboard run by Bluebirds fan stalwart Annis Abraham are calling for Bellamy to come on board.
In a poll asking whether Slade should go, 84 per cent of those voting said yes. However, others do back Slade, arguing he has made progress under difficult circumstances, which has included cost-cutting measures Tan asked his manager to implement.
Abraham, who has been a Bluebirds season-ticket holder for 43 consecutive seasons and who runs the messageboard, said: “To be honest, there has been quite a bit of talk about Bellamy since October. But after the manner of the weekend defeat at Hillsborough, the clamour has got louder and louder.
“The fans, it seems, want someone to explode this football club, re-ignite their fire and passion. And as a local man, they believe Bellamy is the person to do it.

“Cardiff City fans identify with home-grown people. It’s what gives us our passion. We’re not getting those players coming through under Slade. Declan John, for example, doesn’t get a look-in.
“I just think the most overwhelming theme on the messageboard is that the club has to move forward and fans are waiting to see if Tan listens.”
