GARY CALDWELL/CRAIG BELLAMY

Sun May 01, 2016 6:49 pm

Look at the job inexperienced manager gary caldwell has done this season with wigan. Goes to show that you dont necessarily have to have experience to succeed as a manager, some people are against the idea of bellamy being our manager because of no experience. Get bellamy in i say he would transform this club and make a top top manager imo.

Set high standards as a captain for the club and we succeeded on the pitch, same would happen if he was manager

May not have experience but he certainly has gone out of his way to gain knowledge from several top managers and foreign league's

Yeh and all valuable knowledge and experience hes picked up there.

And think of the experience he has in his playing career and what he would have picked up off each manager hes played for, and bellamy has played for lots of different clubs and top clubs.

Time to see if practice makes perfect with that knowledge

No the Cardiff job is too big. We have lots of clearly to do still and it's still a far from strait forward football job. We need experience at this stage were at.

You really think slade is in charge of the clearing out? If bids come in for our players then theyll go, slade dosent do anything i expect. Slades in charge of the football side of the business and hes shit at it, we need a proper football man in charge of football who knows what hes doing, bellamy fits the bill.

I personally think a dave jones/Bellamy partnership would be great .... both out of work ,both know each other and get on well .. and although he may not be everyone's cup of tea Jones brand of football was always pleasing on the eye ... just my opinion

Can see why Bellers might be a gamble.... But we are a gambling club, always have been. We have always gone for short term non sustainable growth. Time we went for long term sustainable growth. I believe this is Tans approach. We shouldn't be surprised that if we do the same thing year in year out we get the same results. Bellers will give us a heart and passion. I believe as a club however we should lower expectation as aim for that longer term sustainability. Not a popular choice, but if Slade can continue to balance the books while having a respectful season then it will stand us in good stead years down the line.
