I suppose it depends entirely on what the board want from next season, Slade has done what he was brought in to do, if the board have no ambition for next season, he may as well stay

Agreed as not many managers will want to come in to slash more off the wage bill with ten pence to spend at the same time :bluescarf:

To finish where we have and to have spent as little as we have he can't be doing much wrong. We are building for a sustainable future and would be foolish to demand otherwise, we are not a club who can spend silly money anymore.

But some of our fans will never understand that.

Oh I totally agree, I'm just pointing out that unless we wanna do what Derby done this season and throw 25 million at a promotion push, then Slade should probably stick around.

We are still recovering from our last spending spree

NO and THRICE NO!

He has done a reasonable job NOT a great job. If we're happy with reasonable then fine ... if we keep him we'll have another mediocre season of crap football, wage slashing and upper/mid table tepidity and baldy bleating on about how we've made progress but taking none of the blame for uninspiring crowd diminishing performances.

Do you think our wavering and (admittedly rather plastic) support will come flocking back under Russ?

We need an ambitious manager who's prepared to lose a few matches and some of the huffing and puffing old guard for the sake of a more inspiring, attacking, crowd pleasing and ultimately more winning style of football, a man that the good people of Cardiff and beyond will get behind in their droves. Sorry, it's not Uncle Fester and never will be.

True, but we don't have to spend silly money to play exciting and attacking football rather than the slow predictable boring drivel that Slade produces week in week out.
We need a young manager that understands the modern game. I'm sure there's a few out there that would jump at the chance to manage Cardiff on a realistic wage.

That falls down to one man at the end of the day.

What the f**k are some of you blubbering about. How many games have we blown this season while being 2 goals up. He said at the start of the season that the play offs were a minimum! ! We failed to do that . Get rid of him. Under Slade we have been boring and predictable, open your eyes..FFS.. Rant over I'm going on the Stella.
