Can't go up without a striker

Very rarely do teams gain promotion without a 20 goal striker. Next season we must sign a decent striker whether it be on loan from a premier league club or whether we sign a player from lower leagues with a good record.

How many strikers had Slade used now, he has failed to get the best from any of them.

No strikers can score without a game plan and decent service from the midfield. How many times have we run out of ideas ?????

Last week was the exception to the rule......but then again i think this was down to team selection and the tactics used.

Strikers cost money which we have'nt got. Promotion is not the priority at this club, reducing debt and running costs are. Staying in the Championship will be the main aim for the next couple of years.

I think it was around £750k. Never rated him before he arrived, and even less once he was here. I think we would have to be very lucky to get a 20 goal a season Championship striker for this sort of money.
