True, they were very high,but beggars can't be choosers and I can't see clubs offering him high wages.

It would be interesting if he came back, as I believe he still has a lot to offer as a player. People who knew him whilst he was down here say he was a genuinely nice guy :thumbup:

I am sure he could do a job but personally I would prefer Ross McCormack.

He hits 20 goals a season and has pretty much scored a third of all Fulhams goals this season.

If he can score 20 for a side teetering on relegation imagine what he could do with a side looking for promotion.

Would also cost about 10 million

Once we get rid of our players out on loan we should have close to a free £10m in transfer fees and salary saving

A player of McCormack ability would take us close - and the £150+ million that comes with it.

I understand the concern expense and transfer embargo but if it can be done then for me it is the correct investment

The alternative is that we show no investment and become an average championship side with no ambition of premiership football

No way - we need to be looking at younger and faster players.
