PILKINGTON LOVES SCORING AGAINST WEDNESDAY
Anthony Pilkington does seem to have a knack of scoring against Wednesday
Sometimes players have teams they always do well against... and in Anthony Pilkington’s case that’s Sheffield Wednesday.
He grabbed his first Cardiff goal in a 2-1 win over the Owls in September 2014, was injured when they drew at Hillsborough in the return game last season, and scored against them again in the 2-2 draw in the Welsh capital earlier in this campaign.
When playing for Huddersfield, Pilkington also found the net against Wednesday home and away in the 2010-11 season, firing his team to victory on each occasion.
He also likes playing against Yorkshire clubs, having netted for the Bluebirds against Rotherham (twice) and Huddersfield this season.
Time to rediscover those scoring boots, then.
