Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff City will face each other in the Championship this weekend.
NEIL WARNOCK PREDICTS
28/04/16
Rotherham United manager Neil Warnock predicted on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 25) that Sheffield Wednesday will not lose to Cardiff City at home this weekend.
Wednesday will take on Cardiff at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
“I think Sheffield will have a bit too much, if I am honest,” said Warnock on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 25).
“I don’t think they will lose the game, and I think that’s all they have got to do. And I tell you, they are not a bad shout in the playoffs.”
Wednesday are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with 71 points from 44 matches, four points above Cardiff, who are currently seventh in the standings.
The Owls are in a brilliant position to claim the final playoff spot, and a win against the Bluebirds at Hillsborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon will ascertain that.
A defeat is going to dent Wednesday’s chances of finishing in the top six of the Championship this season, but they will still have their destiny in their own hands.

He's probably right, & the game has a draw written all over it. However, anything is possible in football.

I think its hard to call, we have the tools to do it but do we have the Xfactor on the day ?

I'm afraid our inability score goals will means winning games is tough and given that Wednesday only need a draw it will be even harder.
Although you never know

Its a must win game for us...... so were bound to get a draw at best.
Lets face it, we have limited flair and no recognized proven strikers in the team. Been the issue all season and its going to be the factor that prevents us making top 6

I'm convinced if we go there and win, we will beat Brum and see Wednesday draw at best at Wolves because it's a tough place to go.
Fingers crossed lads !!

The flip side of that is despite all those handicaps we have still reached nearly 70 points and 7th in the table. Just short of the play-offs but hopefully a good bases for next season.

It has a home win written all over it.
Yes anything is possible, everything is unpredictable, but an away win would be a shock.

Where are our goals going to come from? The odds are against us but I'm sure there is pressure on them also. Wednesday are in the driving seat and have only lost 2 at home.

I can see this as a good thing it just heaps more pressure on them.

They only need a draw and we haven't got a real striker - surely this is destined to be 0-0 ( unless of course Whitts keeps his best for last - which is entirely possible!

).
