Agree, it's been a pleasure to watch him over the years.

He deserves a testimonial, but so did super kev and the club promised one yet didn't deliver.

I thought they announced recently that it will be on a date to fixed at the end of July ?

If we could morph PW with Craig Noone we would have our own Gareth Bale. Whitts has been a great servant to the club and is only a yard of pace away from being a £10m+ player.

Deserves a testimonial and I just hope his corner delivery and free kicks are top notch between now and the end of the season  0

Ah I must have missed that! It's been a while since they agreed to it. Fair enough then

I know Kevin Mcnaughton is end of July but can't remember anything being announced for Whitts.

Correct, nothing announced for Whitts yet but that will probably be at the end of next season. Hasn't he done 10 years with us then ?

I feel that Malky really managed Whitts' best qualities out of him. Still first name on the team sheet for me though.

I think he's lost that quick killer pass under pressure this season

agree with this ,season before under Jones he was playing in a more attacking role (scored 20+goals) and for some reason Malky put him as a holding midfielder , feel he was wasted there. I remember 1 game that he was put back in a more attacking role for 1 game (due to an injury to another player I think) and he scored a hatrick against Wolves

I agree on both accounts :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

But Whits nowadays is not consistent.

Yeah, and he played very advanced at home once this year I think it was against burnley and he had a stormer. He was wide but seemed to be much further up the pitch.
