Kevin Keen has quit as manager of Colchester following confirmation of their relegation to Sky Bet League Two.

Saturday's home defeat to Burton sealed the club's fate five months after Keen was appointed to succeed Tony Humes.

Colchester did not record a victory under their new boss until March 1, but a run of four wins and two draws in eight games looked to potentially revive their survival chances before their form slipped again.
