Be honest mate, Whitts was class on Saturday.
Providing he has 'legs' around him (or in this case, plays against 10 men) he has the ability to control a game.
Clearly can't play as part of a 2 man central midfield though.
He somehow has to start on Saturday, which begs the question of what team do we go with.
All opinions though mate

Were you watching the same game as me? he was slow ,passed backwards and didn't shoot when he could of he definitely isn't the same player as a couple if seasons ago ,it summed it up he had a chance to volley a shot on the edge of the box but passed it backwards he can't make the Killer pass under pressure anymore ,I will give it to him when he's not under pressure he can pass it well but that's very rare these days

Andrew, Whitts was back to his best on Saturday and some of his long passing accuracy was sublime. Only Marshall's superb saves stopped him being my MotM and I think he can be the difference versus Wednesday this coming Saturday

His sublime passing was to our wingers don't remember any passes through the middle or upto our strikers
Saturday at Sheffield will be a battle and won't suit whitts ,we will need legs and a bit of bottle ,whitts has neither sorry

I think he's our best option as a creative midfielder arm but I do agree that it could be s gamble as I never know which PW will turn up.
PW is the one player who splits opinions the most tbf.
All opinions though fellas

Agree and that was only coz there was no pressure on him ,I think whitts is a spent force now need to upgrade him in the summer

Whatts was nothing more than ordinary....a couple of good long crosses and a couple of duff corners.......ordinary but he did play above his usual average of contributing very little.. :ayatollah:
