Thousands of long-suffering Cardiff City fans feel like they've been here before. An end-of-season trip to Sheffield Wednesday with a play-off place on the line.
In fact it was almost seven years to the day since Dave Jones' class of 2009 spectacularly missed out in South Yorkshire after a late season implosion.
Here we take a look at what those players are up to now.
Tom HeatonHeaton is still a familiar face to many Cardiff fans as he plays in goal for league leaders Burnley. He beat David Marshall to be named in the Championship team of the year and could go to the Euros in the England squad.
Kevin McNaughtonSince leaving Cardiff last summer, Super Kev has been on the books at League One leaders Wigan. But he's been plagued by injury and hasn't played since August. He's due a testimonial at the Bluebirds.
Darren PurseThe former Bluebirds skipper is still playing, for Hayes and Yeading in the National League, at the age of 39. But his team looks set for relegation heading into this weekend's final game.
Roger JohnsonAnother player who has been bitten by the relegation bug is Purse's centre back partner, who has been at Charlton since January but only played a handful of games.
Mark KennedyThe popular fullback is currently on the coaching staff at Championship rivals Ipswich after finishing his playing career at Portman Road in 2012.
Miguel CommingesThe Guadeloupe international joined MLS outfit Colorado Rapids after leaving the Bluebirds before ending his playing career at Stevenage Borough in 2013.
Chris BurkeThe flying Scotsman is a Nottingham Forest player these days but has been on loan at Rotherham during their dramatic escape from the Championship drop zone under Neil Warnock.
Quincy Owusu-AbeyieThe former Ajax and Arsenal winger has been out of the game for more than a year after being released by Portuguese outfit Boavista but he has had several failed trials, including one at Crystal Palace, and is currently training with Heerenveen in Holland.
Gavin RaeAfter a spell at Aberdeen, the tough tackling midfielder now lives in Australia and is working through his coaching badges while playing at Hakoah Sydney City East FC.
Stephen McPhailThe cultured midfielder is still going strong at the age of 36, playing for Irish outfit Shamrock Rovers. He is club captain and signed a new contract on Christmas Eve.
Peter WhittinghamWhitts is the only surviving player from the team of 2009 and he's still banging them in for the Bluebirds. His 94 minute penalty on Saturday secured Saturday's showdown in Sheffield .
Jay BothroydThe England international is still banging in the goals for Jubilo Iwata in the Japanese second tier. He's scored 26 in 37 games since joining in 2015.
Michael ChopraMichael Chopra celebrates his goal against Rangers
Chops started this season leading the line for Scottish Championship outfit Alloa Athletic. He scored a great goal against Rangers but was released in March after a run of injuries.
Ross McCormackThe Scottish striker has been one of the stars of the Championship this season in a struggling Fulham team. He made the Championship season XI alongside Burnley's £6m man Andre Grey.
