why do people automatically want to "move people onto the coaching staff"
hes got a good few seasons left in him at this level yet

Not sure about that i think he just lacks pace at this level now but why i think a coaching position for witts is important because he knows the club inside out and what a professional he is and could pass on his knowledge to the younger players.

He's never had pace, Whitts will do all the dirty work at the back, will look to keep possession won't lump it forward like others do if nothing is On,from lack of movement from other players (and he gets booed for it). Makes some fantastic balls every game, Whittingham is probably one the best passes at the club. Don't understand why some people want him moved on he's one of the best players at the club

Whitts has lost that knack of finding goals from open play and playing the Killer pass under pressure I would move him on

spot on
he passes the buck more like when theres nothing on
he has been a good servant to us
but now he is just a has been
the game has moved on and left him behind
players are fitter stronger and quicker in todays game
