" One half of Sheffield will not sleep so easy "
By Steve Tucker
If you were awarded points in the Championship for tenacity, sheer bloody-mindedness and confounding expectation, then Cardiff City would most likely already be promoted as Champions.
What they lack in finesse, creativity and class under manager Russell Slade, they seem to more than make up for in their ability to dig something out just when they need it. To make you look once more just as you want to turn away in weariness.
Here it was Peter Whittingham’s late, late penalty, that ensured supporters in one half of Sheffield do not sleep quite so easy in their beds tonight and that the Bluebirds themselves live to fight another day.
