Cardiff City and Swansea City agents fees revealed as Bluebirds outspend Swans despite transfer embargo
Cardiff were handed a shock transfer embargo on January 15 but went onto spend fees on a new deal for Matthew Connolly and a loan move for striker Kenneth Zohore

Cardiff City outspent Swansea City on agents' fees from October to February despite being placed under a transfer embargo in January, new FA figures have shown.
The Bluebirds forked out £542,546 on fees during that period while the Swans' outlay was £491,000.
Detailed breakdowns of figures extending as far back as April reveal exactly which deals were taken into account - with many for players signing new contracts or extending existing deals.
Cardiff were handed a shock transfer embargo on January 15 but went onto spend fees on a deal to keep Matthew Connolly at the club until 2019 after he extended his contract and a loan move for striker Kenneth Zohore.

The Swans spent money bringing in Alberto Paloschi who signed in an £8m deal and Leroy Fer on loan in January, as well as in giving defender Jordi Amat a new contract at the end of that month.
Top spenders in the Premier League were Manchester United. The Red Devils spent a huge £10,023,318 on intermediary and agents fees while Everton's £471,400 made them the lowest spenders in the top flight.
In the Championship, QPR were the only club into seven figures after spending £1,002,232. Birmingham City spent the least - £46,000.
The amounts include payments made by clubs on behalf of players from October 1, 2015, to February 1, 2016.
Full details of the payments aren't disclosed but retainers and ongoing payments as part of existing contracts can account for some money.

These agents fees are likely to include..
A fee related to the Mason sale
A fee related to Kenwynne sale/ loan
And the other smaller deals
Fees related to Immers coming in
Plus money related to deals done ages ago and dependent on appearances or staged payments.
Plus contract extensions.
Don't be fooled into thinking this all related to the few signings we've made in the last 6 months.
A fee related to the Mason sale
A fee related to Kenwynne sale/ loan
And the other smaller deals
Fees related to Immers coming in
Plus money related to deals done ages ago and dependent on appearances or staged payments.
Plus contract extensions.
Don't be fooled into thinking this all related to the few signings we've made in the last 6 months.
