Alan Pardew says he is still waiting until Crystal Palace are mathematically safe before he signs a new deal.

Palace, who face Watford in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday, are nine points above the relegation zone with three games remaining.

Speaking at a press conference this afternoon, Pardew says everything is in place and agreed for an extension but he is waiting until survival is secured before signing.

I thought they were safe but looking at the table they may need another win

They're bloody idiots if they sign him to a new deal.
