WENGER HAS NO PLANS TO LEAVE

20/04/16

Arsene Wenger insists he has no plans to leave Arsenal in the summer and intends to see out his contract at the club.

The Gunners have endured a disappointing run of form since the turn of the year and are now in a battle to secure a top-four finish having slipped out of contention for the Premier League title.

But Wenger, who is contracted to Arsenal until May 2017, was unmoved when asked if recent results, as well as banners protesting at his continued role, could force him to reconsider his position.

"I do not want to come back on that, I respect always my contract," he said when asked about remaining in charge.

When pushed further he replied: "I've just answered your question."

He needs to sign players to keep their fans happy.

Now I know people will disagree with me on this and say well how much do they need as a fan but I feel quite sorry for thier fans. That club is on the verge of being the best in the premierleague for the last 10 years but I say the verge because they haven't! Yes they have had champions league football but never won it! Yes they won 2 FA cups but for what thier fans pay to watch thier team is not worth it IMO. They play pretty football and have been very consistent and I think on the balance of things they are lucky to have Wenger but they are a club in good financial position who could add 3 or 4 great players and win many trophies. Instead they choose not to and win not a lot! If Spurs win the title this season it'll be a big kick in the goodies for their fans. Mind u Spurs are def there on merit so it'll be an interesting finish to the season up there. All I'm saying is if any set of fans deserve a league title now, it's Arsenal.

I'll wait for the rude comments to comeback at me lol ....
