0-0 a must win game first sub makes just before 80 minutes and bring on a winger with 2 strikers on the bench.

The last 3 games Wednesday have gifted us the play offs yet we couldn't capitalise on it.

We've been playing with 2 number 10's for far too long.
With Saadi Zohore Pilks and Immers i would rather any other combination play together rather than the 2 that Slade has been persisting with.

Have to agree with this. I've stuck up for Slade from the beginning and he's done a brilliant job for us overall.

However, one of the first things Slade said was the importance of building partnerships. Well Ralls and O'Keefe were building a wonderful partnership, we were running games with their energy in midfield and Slade had finally found the formula to get us consistently playing well and winning.

Slade made a massive mistake dropping O'Keefe at Fulham, it was a ridiculous decision, a decision I can't really forgive him for at such a crucial stage of the season. We have gone on to take only 2 points from our last 4 games since Slade dropped O'Keefe. It was a decision that completely upset our settled side and we have failed to put in a good, consistent performance since.

Of course, we have lost Pilkington and Manga at this crucial time and Slade had rotten luck with the amount of injuries we had at the start of the season, but every club has similar injury problems.

The reality is we were in a rich vein of form, deservedly winning games and then Slade 'rested' our most in form player. That one decision alone has in my opinion, cost us the playoffs.

Slade has had ample opportunities to play Zohore upfront where we need goals but yet slade keeps strikers on the bench and insists on playing a winger upfront he's clueless

Slade is Dave Jones in disguise - loads of league games under his belt and learnt f**k all. Purely ONE dimensional and boring with it

Considering the circumstances under which he took over,I think he has done a pretty good job up to a point. The experiment with Pilkington worked for a while but I think he's carried on with it,much too long. I think the jury is out on Zohore but unless he gets game time,how is anyone going to know if he's capable at this level.Also,if Zohore is picked,it gives Slade the option to put Pilkington back on the wing where Noone hasn't been playing that well. I would keep Slade on as a director of football with a younger head coach to try and take us to the next level.

If we want any chance of promotion next season, then Slade must go. He's done a decent job, but hasn't got the tactical awareness and motivational skills. Also, too many pointless signings by him. People on these boards say that a good new manager will be expensive, yet if Tan really wants us in the Premiership then he must invest in the likes of Nigel Pearson.
