Fleetwood Town’s Jamille Matt looks set to be a wanted man in the transfer window, with a number of clubs including current loan side Plymouth Argyle expressing an interest in the striker, according to HITC.

The 26-year-old has scored four goals in six games since arriving at Home Park last month, and has been a major boost in the Devon side’s push for automatic promotion to League One.

However, it is believed that both promotion rivals Bristol Rovers and Scottish outfit Motherwell are also monitoring Matt whilst contemplating moves in the summer.

It previously seemed that Matt had no future with Fleetwood, having also had a loan spell at Stevenage earlier on in the season.

However his recent good form means that Steven Pressley and his staff may wish to take another look at him before making any decisions on his future.

Plymouth currently sit in fifth place, as the dramatic promotion race in League Two looks set to go to the wire.

Argyle are just one point off third with four games remaining, so the next month will be very nerve-racking for Plymouth fans. T

here will be many obstacles to overcome if they are to land Matt on a permanent basis, but promotion would surely boost their chances hugely.
