Why aren't any of these clubs looking at Slade when so many people seem to think he's done a brilliant job here under very testing circumstances?

Poyet is out of work. Slade has a job.

Why aren't people looking at dyche who took burnley up and will probably do it again? Hughton? Carvahal? The 'anything to have a pop at slade' thing is ridiculous.

Is he? thought he was manager of Athens.

Plus slade is out of work in a couple of weeks as it stands so any approach could be made, compensation hardly likely to be high.

Perhaps because Slade has been brought into a club to trim down a squad and survive, granted he has surpassed expectations, but I assume that Forest are looking for someone who can take them to the next level and Slade doesn't fit that bill for them?
