Former Cardiff scores in Scottish cup semi

Sun Apr 17, 2016 2:42 pm

Kenny MILLER the former Cardiff front man opened the scoring in a fiercely contested old firm cup semi final. Rangers who recently got promoted to the top tier went on to win the game on penalties after a 2-2 draw and will go on to face Hibernian in the final.

Did they let him take a penalty in the shoot out? :o

The two he took against Palace in the League Cup semi final and against Liverpool in the final are still orbiting in outer space somewhere.

Always be remembered for blasting over the bar in extra time in the final when he could have won it for us.

It went downhill from there after that for him with us.

Millar was subbed before extra time, the guy who came on, Nicky Clark, had his penalty saved. :) Fair play to Kenny he's a good pro and never hides, under Mark Warburton he's found a new lease of life and played very well against the Bheasts today.

Wasn't it just before the end of normal time?

You could be right but I thought it was a chance to win it for us rather than a chance to equalise.

My memory is not what it was though so I can't be sure. :old:

The game finished 1-1 after 90 mins, and I think there were only 2 or 3 minutes left before extra time when the chance came to him.
