That means a whopping 56,000 fans have flocked into Cardiff City Stadium for the last two home matches. Lots of free tickets given away or not, it is proof the club’s charm offensive in trying to entice people back through the turnstiles is working a treat.
Ten out of ten to the Bluebirds marketing gurus for their initiatives. Just a shame that on this occasion, unlike against Derby, Slade’s team could not deliver what was required out on the pitch.

From where I was sat in the Ninian Stand it actually looked like more bums on seats than the Derby game and a lot more people on the concourse before the game too.
Very encouraging and a mum with her 8 year old son with free tickets were off home to buy their first season tickets after I'd explained it could be done on-line. Well worth free tickets for the last 2 games now, gives parents a chance to see if they like it and if we can hook a few after a game like yesterday imagine what could happen if we could stick a few goals in against Bolton![]()
