For a tall bloke I was surprised how poor he seems to be in the air.

Didn't one one header that I can remember and also needs to throw his weight around a bit more and start putting opposition centre halfs under more pressure physically.

He's a presence but tend to agree with his size he needs to be showing some authority, he reminds me of Ricardo Fuller!

He seemed to get in the way of Morrison a couple of times when he was going for a header. I'm still waiting for him to do something.

I was in the canton and agree with you. He barely gets off the ground when he jumps and I don't think I've seen him make proper contact with a ball yet

Our fans are so negative..Give the guy a break he has probably only played 80 mins over about 8 games.

He's only 22 and has clear raw ability we just need to give him time. He needs to adjust to the championship.

I agree, but we also have fans saying he should start every game from now until the end of the season

Looks raw and is a bit of a presence but at the moment that's all I can say positive about him.
With the right guidance and coaching maybe we can nurture him into a proper handful like rudy turned out to be so I'm willing to give him time and won't judge him on the short term.
As for replacing pilks or lex up top right now, well that's a big no no for me, his positional play is simply not up to scratch and for a big lad he rarely wins any headers due to his judgement of the flight of the ball when it's in the air.

that's the closest to common sense on this thread why anyone wants to put faith in a striker that has never scored a goal at this level baffles me. People looking for answers for striker we need, but it can't be fixed with 4 games left imo
