Some fans want Russell Slade to stay at Cardiff City next season, I'm one of those. Others want Slade to go and be replaced for next season. That's fair enough.
Since Tan was involved, three different managers have been appointed.
First was Malky Mackay, a young manager who had potential.
He was replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a foreign manager.
Finally there was Russell Slade, the experienced head.
That is more or less the three different types of manager you can have. So where now?
Do we go with the youth, such as Craig Bellamy?
Would another foreign manager be too much of a risk after Solskjaer?
Do we get a new man in but sticking with the experience, such as Nigel Pearson?

Tan has made it clear that the days of throwing huge sums of money into this club are long gone. It's all very well fans on this forum suggesting various bigger names as potential replacements, but these managers have to be prepared to come here in the first place, and also be prepared to be on a limited salary with a limited budget for squad strengthening. It's not easy to find a better replacement on the sort of salary that Slade is reported to be on, and he has probably done as well as Tan expected him to do given the conditions imposed on him. I would'nt be surprised if he stays, although it is possible that he may not wish to continue managing our club, and leave Tan with no choice other than to find a replacement anyway.

I think we should address it at the end, I am torn but what you said is spot on. Could bring in new manager and be great or it could go the other way, just can't tell.

Slade the experienced manager he certainly is but at championship level he isnt

I want a manager to bring through the youth and be under not as much pressure for promotion. Maybe someone like Kevin Nicholson whose working with them regualr. Cheap option to
