Chelsea ready to hijack Arsenal summer raid for Barcelona star
CHELSEA are ready to make a raid for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, according to reports.

The 29-year-old is also wanted by Arsenal as they look to overhaul their squad in the summer, say talkSPORT.

Turan signed for Barca last summer from Atletico Madrid but was only able to play for the club from January due to the club’s transfer embargo.

The midfielder has since played 20 times but has failed to displace either Sergio Busquets or Ivan Rakitic as Luis Enrique’s first-choice stars.

The Turkey international has scored twice and provided four assists for the Spanish giants since making his debut.

Arsenal have been linked with the midfielder in recent months, but Chelsea are prepared to enter a bidding war with Arsene Wenger at the end of the season for the 29-year-old.

Barcelona are reluctant to sell Turan without giving him a full season to try and break into their starting line-up.
