The last two matches have reduced our hopes of a play-off place, I'll admit.
But it's not over yet. We're five points off Sheffield Wednesday and seven off Derby and Hull with five games to go - although Hull have a game in hand. But Wednesday's confidence will have suffered after losing 4-1 yesterday.
We still have to play Sheffield Wednesday as well as:
QPR home
Brentford away
Bolton home
Birmingham home
Sheffield Wednesday's other fixtures are:
Ipswich home
MK Dons home
Derby away
Wolves away
Will be much harder to catch the other two but Derby still have to play Brighton and Ipswich as well as their match against Wednesday. Hull have struggled recently but have the easier run-in.
We still have a chance as I'm certain Wednesday will drop points, and it could really come down to that match at Hillsborough on April 30th.
All we can do is keep supporting the team

Wednesdays fixtures look tougher, hopefully they go off the boil now and we move into 6th spot. But we have had a successful season, the club is being run the way it should, and would take top 9 all day. Keep the nucleus of the squad together, bring in a proven experienced striker and we go again next season!

Two tough away games for weds and Ipswich home won't be a walk in the park.

In reality, the least we needed was a point at Fulham and more realistically all 3 pts to have a real chance of the top six, we got neither!
So, on the one hand we can't give up hope until mathematically impossible, but I think we all know in our hearts, that yesterday we blew it

Change the manager now and start building for next season. Rose tinted hope will not get us into the top six. We have the nucleus of a good side , capable of getting there, need the motivator and tactician to do it.

I agree but at the end of the season.
However, I think he will definitely be retained so I'll continue to support.
