Same old problem - not necessarily Slades!

Sun Apr 10, 2016 11:32 am

I gave up on arguing against mad uncle fester's signings and tactics before xmas and I can see some are having ago about his team picks recently.

BUT the only fact is, the team has let itself down against lower league opposition again, all too regular and that really is why we are now talking about winning 3-4 games out of 5.

This isn't something new to my mind, seems from memory we have for many year struggled against lower sides and faired pretty well against those above us (whilst in the Championship!).

So no attack on uncle fester, we have to learn how to deal, and get results, from the strugglers - and then, along with some new players, might be hope for next season - even with uncle fester :o :o :o

arri potta - losing his marbles :old:

Funny thing is its not just this season it happens every season we tend to struggle against teams on long losing runs or in bottom of league! Yesterday was just poor defending nothing to do with Slades tactics in fact he pushed for win if anything :old:

Since the DJ era we have relied on Whitts set plays,I would love to know ho many goals we we score in open play since Jay & Chops left, it will be quite low.

Poor teams generally don't have good strikers (except Fulham :? ) that is why they are down there, but are organised defensively, we don't bury chances, we are not lethal enough.

Don't see any of our strikers making it, so let them al go in the summer. Not sure if Slade has a talent at spotting talent in that department though.
