Slade out

What a load of shit. People starting to call for his head already. We are 7th in the league FFS and not spent a penny. Maybe Warnock would do a better job maybe not... Who knows but let's not get on his back while we are still within touching distance :bluebird:

I haven't started I've been calling for his head all season lol. In all seriousness I would never verbally call for a manager to be sacked I always get behind the team even if I'm not happy with who's in charge but I still think Slade should be replaced at end of the season

Tactically he's a mess, and a good run the past few months doesn't hide that. Last two games, conceded right after half time after going in 1-0 up in first half - pretty sure we've conceded early in second half an awful lot this season too?

We've done amazing to get to this position, but I genuinely put it down more to the quality of our players than I do the tactics and game management offered by Slade. If anything, the latter has cost us points this season with silly tactical changes in the final 30 minutes of games, bad substitutions, etc.

A big thank you to him, but next year needs a new manager with more experience and bigger ideas. We also need someone who looks to the academy more, as if there's not money to spend, we should be developing young talent instead.

Agree with that

I don't mind having the opinion of Slade. Everyone has their own opinion, what I am saying is let's not bring negativity while we are within touching distance. And you have to agree we are in a position that nobody anticipated at the start of the season

One result from being In our own hands but one from game over. For me it's far from game over. Win sat and weds lose and it's all on.

Everyone moaned when Dave Jones was our manager. Most people moaned about Malky for his football style despite the success he brought us. Now people are once again attacking Slade despite the circus he's had to run for the past season, and the excellent football we've been playing for the past two months.

Face it, some of you are just rarely happy and will fund negatives no matter how much success we find.

Without a doubt, most forums are same.

Depends what the club wants for next season.

If they want to flirt with the play-offs again and be managed by a yes man with over 700 games experience without ever winning promotion then give Slade a new contract.

If they really are serious about winning promotion Slade has shown nothing in the 18 months that he's been here, or in his career to date, to suggest that he is the man to deliver that.

I think if Slade doesn't stay Tan will go for a European manager we haven't heard off Tan admires the Watford model.
