Slade's big call comes of

By Phil Smith

It was a big, big gamble to drop the exemplary Stuart O'Keefe to the bench, and could have earned him a lot of criticism.

Aron Gunarsson repaid his manager's faith with a moment of real quality, however.

The run to the byline showed great desire, the dinked cross with the outside of his right foot showed even better clarity and quality.

O'Keefe will have been disappointed to lose his place after working so hard to earn it, but it can't be blamed for the defeat.

Slade has made alot more than others only since January have a lot of people changed their mind about him (I haven't) his signings are questionable as are his tactics and team selections as demonstrated by dropping an inform okeefe and imo if any player should be replaced it should be malone his form has dipped the past few weeks

I think Slade has proven that he can manage at this level and should be given a second chance at it. :thumbright: :ayatollah:

He has proven he can manage at this level but not for a team trying to get in the playoffs we have been desperate for a striker all season he signed 3 (4 if you count ameobi but I don't count him as a footballer let alone a striker) and 2 proved they were not good enough for top end championship and one is always injured yet you would trust slade next season to get us a good striker?

Totally agree about Ameobi :laughing6: I trust Slade to get a good striker or give Zohore and Saadi a chance. :ayatollah:
