STOP CAMERON spending British taxpayers’ money on Pro-EU Referendum leaflets
Prime Minister David Cameron plans to spend British taxpayers’ money on a pro-EU document to be sent to every household in the United Kingdom in the run up to the EU referendum. We believe voters deserve a fair referendum - without taxpayer-funded biased interceptions by the Government.
I signed it, waste of money and people should be free to make their owns minds, with a fair view from both sides, not just the IN side

Just signed. The petition is at 120,000 now.
People are not happy with a £9,000,000 nationwide leaflet drop.

That's my view Annis, this from number 10 is unfair as it puts only one side of the debate, and at a huge cost to the taxpayer.
GIVE People the facts, from both sides I say.. but 100% out for me

Need to leave the eu ,the government has acted terrible over the whole affair, they should be unbiased and show the pros and cons not just one side ,I think we will leave as they arent surveying the older generation who want out

While I agree with the sentiment behind this protest I think we have missed a trick here. Most people, myself included, don't know enough about the issues affecting the referendum. They ought to allow the brexit campaign to mailshot everyone at the expense of the taxpayer too that way it would be fairer.

That's how I see it. Most voters don't know the full implications of staying in or exiting the EU. £9M is not a lot of money in Government spending terms and certainly not when it comes to making such an important decision.
That's why the Government is right to produce this pamphlet but to ensure fairness it should give the leave campaign £9M to offer a counter argument and allow us the general populous to come to an informed decision.

Should be two leaflets, delivered at the same time. One from the Government saying we should remain, the other from the Brexit campaign to leave. People can make up their own minds after reading both.
The Government is allowed to be bias, after all they are campaigning to stay in, I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is this leaflet they have given out to everyone is full of half truths and downright lies. To all the EU loving lefties reading this, Cameron is shitting it, if we leave the EU he will have to quit and the Tories will be thrown into chaos. If you hate them as much as you say you do give Cameron and co a kicking at the polls and vote leave.

It proves how the 'IN' crowd are willing to waste our money; as they do when money is wasted towards the EU.
I am voting OUT.
Fri Apr 08, 2016 11:55 am
If you receive it, send it back return to sender 10 downing Street.

We can't stop it as it has already been produced and is with the Royal Mail to be delivered.
I would have rathered a monetary campaign to raise £9million and counteract this leaflet but then give the money to charity instead. Show up the government for how wasteful the expenditure is.

I am out, agree with most that need to make your own mind up. Cameron's days are numbered

What is 9 million by government spending standards?

Spot on.
I haven't got a clue what I'm going to vote for as I don't know enough. All we hear is one politician bullshitting in one side and in the other side we hear another bullshitting politician.
Would really love to hear from impartial economists who can give a rational opinion.

There is no way of proving it's good to stay in and no way of saying it's good to leave it's all speculation either way as to what will happen? It's out for me
Sun Apr 10, 2016 4:05 pm
200,000 now and rising.
Also agree there should also be a second leaflet drop off the EU out campaign to balance things up.
