Russell Slade has reacted to being nominated for manager of the month
Slade reacted to his manager of the month nomination for March, saying the recognition was for the whole club, rather than just himself.
"I think the thing is it's a reflection of how far the team has come," Slade said.
"It's not a reflection on me, it's a reflection on the players and staff and everybody concerned.
"I just think we have gathered some momentum and consistency. We are playing well and have put in two very high-level performances against Derby and Burnley.
"The secret is to maintain that. When you set standards you have got to maintain them."
That continues at Craven Cottage this weekend with the Bluebirds taking on a Fulham side that have won twice in a week to ease relegation fears and are the second-highest scorers in the Championship with 61 goals behind Burnley's 63.
