Sean Morrison is never going to be the kind of ball-playing centre-back Matt Connolly is but, as he continued in Connolly's absence, Morrison reminded he has plenty of strengths of his own. Solid and dependable, he rarely messed around when the ball was there to be won.
He might not be comfortable building possession from the back, but not a lot got past him here and his slide tackle to stop Boyd on 24 minutes was as valuable as a goal. His return could be significant when keeping clean sheets becomes more important than ever at this stage of the season.
