Still got a great chance Annis, no need for any of us to be downbeat tonight. Derby and Sheffield Wednesday will drop points and we still have Wednesday to play.

Gutted but a draw at Burnley was a good result can't believe what happened at Darby wtf were Hull like ? Let's look for 3 points at Fulham but that won't be easy !

Who expected Derby to beat Hull 4-0 after the way they played against us on Saturday .I thought Hull would have got a point at least but that result shows how close the championship is.

Derby and Wednesbury play each other on the 23rd, and we play Wednesday on the 30th, super important fixtures.

Problem is with our goal difference we are effectively 5 points adrift of the last play off place. games are running out now, and we have to rely on other teams helping us over the next few weeks. We are probably going to drop at least 3 or 4 points before the season ends, and that would mean we need teams above us to drop at least 8 points in the remaining 6 games for us to have a sniff of the play offs. Can't see it happening.

It looks disappointing but before the game most would have taken a draw and it sounds like they've not only taken a point but put in a pretty good performance :ayatollah:

I'm amazed at the Derby result tonight after watching them on Saturday. The important thing is to stay together through any blips on what looks like a disappointing day of results and look at the whole set of fixtures. Sheffield Wednesday looks about the only one where we wouldn't necessarily expect to win.

There will be ups and downs but if we maintain the current form and average points per game we will be close. Someone will slip up, let's hope it's not us :thumbright: :ayatollah:

One thing is for sure though: the Fulham game just got bigger

Only the 3rd time Burnley have failed to score at home in the league!

You cant ask for more than a draw away at the leaders. What will be will be. A brilliant effort tonight!
Slade has worked wonders and I was one of his doubters.

No easy games in the Championship ;)

We can do nothing what so ever about other results! A 0-0 draw away against top of the league is a very good result. We need to follow it up with a win at fulham. We tend to deliver in the games we're not expected to win though! Still a long way to go but if we just miss out then i still think this season would still be a success. Alot of people including myself never thought we would be where we are. Credit to RS for turning the team around and credit to the club for changing the way the supporters/public/community feel about the club

Great point non the less attains burnley. Other teams have tough fixtures too and we need to carry n winning and focus on our games.

If hull lose their game in hand, 6 points from 4th could well be a battle for 3 play off places

Both Wednesday and Derby had the luxury of playing against 10 men.

We will miss out by not addressing the strike force quicker. Rydog pointed out we have been playing Revell, Jones & Mason this season who are not good enough for a team wanting promotion.

Immers aside, the club have not addressed the weakest part of the squad. I heard Zahore caused 'havoc' yesterday, well, I seen his chance and was a bad touch going through on goal forced him into an attempted lob

I was very surprised with Derby, who lacked ideas against us. We can beat Fulham away, but they have two great strikers. I wonder if Connolly will be picked when fit...I'd certainly select him, but Slade tends to keep faith with players like Morrison.

In 2008/2009 with 6 games to go, we were 5pts clear of Preston with goal diff of +15. They made the play offs. We didn't. KEEP THE FAITH

Keep playing like you did here last night and you'll make it. Best team I have seen at the Turf this season - we hammered Derby here so ypu can't go by othe results. Gutted by our performance - we were dismal again, your no.5 had Gray (Championship leading scorer) in his pocket the whole game. The way we're playing we may well meet you in the playoffs.

Cheers mate that's very encouraging we should have got someone like Andre Gray because we would be comfortably in the top six if we did and good luck to you. :ayatollah:
