Annis whats your thoughts on this?
Conscious of moaning for moaning's sake but when I went to the ticket office yesterday I felt like an inconvenience as opposed to someone who was taking a day and a half off work on top of £100+ to travel a 450 mile round trip on a Tuesday Night to support the team.
I honestly think they think they are doing us a favour at times. There was nothing personal about my encounter with the lady working, barely got a grunt out of her, no how you getting there, thank you for your support nothing, they would not even allow me to buy an extra ticket for a mate who lives up North (I appreciate rules are rules but surely should be relaxed for games like this).
Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for someone to give me a medal or rub my belly but a bit of appreciation would be nice wouldn't it?.
If I was in charge, I would make it a stipulation that at the end of every ticket sale the staff end the sale with thank you very much for your support.
People will say the club do not benefit financially from away ticket sales and that maybe true but they benefit in other ways by having people support the team.
Again, as I have said before, it is half term, the kids are off school, where is the initiative/incentive to our fans to go tonight, why didn't the club offer free travel first 10 coaches, it would have cost them £10-12,000, that is an absolute drop in the ocean, we could have took a 1,000 to this tonight with a bit if foresight.
