I was there for our championship-winning draw, and was struck by the mass of Burnley fans outside their main boozer applauding us on the coaches as we left the town centre. Instant response on our coach of "loyal supporters".

Great memory.

I was remember Burnley in the Bob Bank when I was 10 !!! circa 1970/71 season.Had a good team then I seem to remember Ralph Coates and a boy DaveThomas on the wing, 2-2 if I remember correctly after being chased by older Burnley boys.
