" Can Russell Slade Beat The Master Motivator? "

MASTER MOTIVATOR

At the helm of Burnley is the inspirational Sean Dyche.

There were rumours that he would leave for Sunderland last summer, but he perhaps dodged a bullet there as the sides look set to pass each in the summer.

Dyche has won high praise for his work at Burnley.

Tactically he is clearly sound enough, but his real strength seems to be in the confidence and loyalty he has from his players.

It is rare in this era for a manager to look so secure and so in control of footballing affairs at their club, and Burnley are reaping the rewards of putting their total trust in Dyche.

Burnley's main strength is their organisation and team work, along with having the best striker in the league. Usually, this would be a cast iron home win.

However, Slade has got rid of the majority of bad eggs and has put together a team full of guts, energy and character who can match Burnley's fitness and mentality, plus we have the quality to threaten them.

If we can stay organised, keep our discipline, do the basics well, match them with the key individual battles and frustrate them, we will get a result. You can't get better quality than our current spine of Manga, O'Keefe and Immers at the moment for battling winners.
