Loyal Supporters chant

Sun Apr 03, 2016 7:53 am

Never have I cringed so much in all my days of following this great club. When the attendance was announced people who I have never seen before roused and began chanting "LOYAL SUPPORTERS". It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

"Here on a freebie, you're only here on a freebie" should have been the reply from the hardcore faithful.

Trouble is people like to make a scene when we have large crowds, however people made it. Freebies or not I was more than happy to see full stadium so welcome back i say! Yes would be good if people came every week but Welsh and certainly city fans are so fickle!
Just enjoy the buzz back in stadium, maybe just for the one game, and chill out

Do you not think that it was the loyal supporters singing it as tounge in cheek at the free brigade. Different level of supporters but we all wanted city to win.

No the participants of these chants weren't intellectually capable of sarcasm, that you can believe. :old:

Lots of people I know who went only go to away games.

Many others still go home but far less often.

Many have difficult monetary situations but may have been coming down for longer than me and you combined.

And of course thousands of young children accompanied by their parents

Are these all plastics?

f**k the split in fans we all want the same thing I couldn't care less about how much fans go but what will get to me is when there's people sitting in the home end and supporting the visitors that really does my head in :old:

Saturday showed fans will turn up if they are given a free ticket. Giving free tickets out made our club so much extra money with food, drink, merchandise and club shop sales.

Hopefully the club will learn from this and offer cheaper prices so the majority of the fans who attended Saturday can still actually AFFORD to go to future games?

Certain fans aren't attending because they're saving for France this summer and they can't afford to do both. The club should consider this and help our fans out. The club apparently owe us all for putting 60k towards improving our own AWAY stadium facilities for OPPOSING fans instead of looking after our own fans after all!
