My only worry would be....

Sun Apr 03, 2016 7:18 am

If Pilks got injuired as am told saddi is not up to the job ( reason why you not seen him ) zohore is only seen as a bit part player if chasing the game, the preferred option would be Lawrence up front playing the Pilks role should this happen. Can he play this role? I have faith, not a lot we can do right now and I guess that's the attitude we need to have. I have no doubt should we fail this season this area will be addressed once and for all going in to next season.

You are right not having a goal scorer as back up could bite us on the backside,at the moment when Pilks is not scoring we we do tend to share it about a bit.
Pilks stays fit and goes on a nice little scoring run is the ideal situation.

I share the same concerns, we need Pilks & Immers to stay fit the whole season.

We can't go into play-offs playing strikers that have never scored for the club and expect a positive outcome

"Saadi not up to the job" in what way?

In the way that he's not been close to getting a game since he's been recovered from his injury.

Can't even get on the pitch for five minutes at the end of a game. We are crying out for a recognized striker and he wasn't even in the squad yesterday.

Unless he's actually brilliant but Slade wouldn't know a decent player if it bit him on the arse?

Perhaps we'll only see how good Saadi is when Slade is forced to play him because of injury or suspension, as he had to do with Immers and O'Keefe and how Slade "stumbled" across using Pilks as a striker when he had no other options?

Either that or perhaps Saadi is just shit?

Trust me when I tell you that he is unlikely to play a single match, not up to it simple as that.

He did I totally agree, ten minutes looked sharp. I'm only relaying what I have been told, and to be honest everything has been spot on. I like you wanted him to be our saviour as did many others, isn't going to happen.

So saadi isnt up to it the same as guerra daehli and ravel morrison wasnt up to slades standards is it? Slade got a habit of outcasting quality players looks like saadi is the next one then..

What happened to ravel Morrison was linked to lazio last I heard and daehli heard he had a bad injury but that was over a year ago
