Firstly what a great win with such a huge crowd, which will hopefully continue the momentum for a play off spot then who knows
Sat in the family stand today I was amazed at how wet the pitch was (which they watered before kick off). The amount of players that slipped for both teams were high, plus it slowed the ball down a bit when playing it out wide.
Is this a new tactic at the CCS stadium to make the pitch as boggy as possible

PS C'mon the boys nothing to lose on Tuesday so go for it.

Could it be to do with the amount of water on it?
Dont quote me though I am no expert.

Interesting post, and something I was wondering myself today. We had rain last night, and this morning, so why was is necessary to sprinkle the pitch before the game?
I noted a lot of the players slipping during the game, especially in the quarter near the away fans.

It was strange players all over the pitch including Marshall!

Clearly, the state of the new pitch was a very low priority with little expertise/cash put that way to ensure a top quality pitch. CCS was built for financial gains only, nobody could argue the playing pitch was a primary concern when the stadium was built.

It's a good idea to use every trick in the book, but why not tell our own players they were slipping around too, of its our pitch why don't they long studs instead of blades....
Next game they should have it bone dry.....
