A huge occasion awaits
Welcome to our live coverage of Cardiff City v Derby County on what is expected to be the most exciting day of the season.
As of last night the club had gone through the 27,000 barrier in terms of tickets shifted for this game after a number of initiatives to engage with supporters. A number of freebies have also been handed out in an effort to build a feelgood factor around the game.
We’re told there are hopes of a 30,000 crowd, which would be the biggest in the history of Cardiff City Stadium, surpassing the 28,018 who watched the Bluebirds against Liverpool in 2014.
It promises to be a totally different atmosphere to what’s been seen and experienced at the stadium so far this season and we’re here live to bring you all the colour and pictures as well as team new news and match updates.
