Hull City boss Steve Bruce admits he’s “very flattered” to be linked with the vacant Aston Villa job.

In his pre-match press conference, Bruce said: "It's flattering for any manager. We've worked so hard over the past eight months to turn things around after the disappointment of relegation. That's the only thing I'm interested in, getting us over the line.

"It's very flattering, but there's been no approaches, nothing like that."

And when asked if there is a release clause in his contract, he added: “That’s for me and my contract. I don’t think you need to know about that.”

Why the fk would he make that move? on the verge of potentially going back to Prem with Hull, and a job that looks as certain as any to be in Championship with Villa.....
